As a Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual brand identity of our iOS, Android, and web apps.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including founder, product managers, marketers, and engineers to define and deliver a captivating and intuitive user experience for our social video app.
- Develop a deep understanding of our Gen Z user base, their preferences, behaviors, and pain points, and infuse these insights into your design decisions.
- Ship feature designs from concept to implementation, translating ideas into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Drive user-centered design thinking, conducting user testing and iterating based on feedback to continually enhance the app's usability and appeal.
- Create engaging and visually stunning screen designs, building our brand to incorporate on-trend aesthetics and best practices in mobile and web design.
- Craft seamless and delightful user interactions, animations, and micro-interactions that enhance the overall app experience and encourage user engagement.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure design implementation aligns with the intended vision and maintain design consistency across platforms.
- 3+ years of professional experience in product design, with a strong focus on B2C mobile app (iOS & Android) and web design.
- Impressive portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for digital products, preferably within the Gen Z audience.
- Proficiency in Figma (or similar design tools), and familiarity with contributing to Figma design libraries.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and usability best practices.
- Experience with animation and motion design, with a keen eye for detail in micro-interactions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions, gather feedback, and collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your time efficiently while working remotely.
- Passion for staying updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and social media culture.
