Software Engineer - II (Fullstack Engineer)

For members of Gen Z who love group chats and want to learn and grow, Genuin is a social app that allows its users to host and participate in async group conversations using video.

Unlike Discord, Genuin is super easy to use, features a vetted content library tailored to Gen Z, and allows its users to customize their community experience.  We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Director to oversee all marketing and user acquisition efforts.

The ideal candidate will have experience building a social network or community-based consumer app, experience with the Gen-Z audience, and 5+ years of relevant marketing experience.

Eligibility
● Experience - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
● Work remotely from Brazil
● Education - B.tech, MCA, M.Sc.(IT) and M.Tech. equivalent.

What will you be doing?
● Designing user interactions on web pages.
● Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
● Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
● Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
● Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
● Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
● Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming
languages.

What are we looking for?
● Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
● Proficiency with any Javascript-framework such as React, Angular, Vue and
Node.js
● Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and
JavaScript.
● Excellent verbal communication skills.

Good to have
● Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to   work around them.
● Knowledge of other programming languages like Java, Go, Python.
● Familiarity with database technologies such as RDBMS or NoSQL.
● Knowledge of client-side single-page applications.
