Work Location:

We are looking to hire this role out of our office in Ahmedabad, India (Not remote or wfh).

Eligibility: 

1. Minimum 1 year of experience working as a full time employee in any software product company.
2. Mandate to have experience working with NodeJs. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and relevant frameworks (Express, Nest.js, etc.).
3. Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
4. Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Node.js development.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

What will you be doing? : 

1. Own and drive the development of new features.
2. Participate in the design and development of Genuin’s backend platform.
3. Troubleshoot production defects and performance issues.
4. Write reusable code/modules.
5. Optimize for speed of development/delivery.
6. Collaborate with frontend developers for integration.

Nice to have :

1. Have conceptual clarity on fundamental knowledge of any object-oriented programming language. 
2. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
3. Understanding of any RDBMS database. 
4. Self-motivated and results-oriented
5. Knowledge of various AWS services (ALB, ECS, ECR, SQS, S3, etc) is a plus.
6. Hands-on with Docker Containers.
7. Experience with Cache Databases like Aerospike, Redis.
8. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
